As I stated in the last post, there is no doubt that network marketing is here to stay. In order to achieve any kind of long-term success in network marketing you must believe in this industry, in the company that you represent, and most important you have to believe in yourself! Which brings us to the next key to success…

Let’s continue on and look at the second of those keys right now to help keep you on your road to financial freedom:

Belief

1. Industry – Many people dive into this industry hoping to make a quick dollar or hoping that they will become an overnight success. Things like this tell me that those type of people really don’t believe in network marketing, they believe in whatever is hot at that moment. If you really want that success in this industry you have to believe in it and dig in and prepare to work at it for a while. Just like that job in corporate America that you wanted so bad…you believe in it, so you were willing to work hard and long at it.
2. Company – All legitimate network marketing companies offer printed material, CDs, DVDs, and more talking about the company’s history, management team, product, etc. Along with that they will offer webinars and live events to increase the belief in the company even more. The key here is to get to know your company so that nothing can break that belief.
3. Yourself – Now having belief in the industry and your company mean nothing if you don’t believe that you can do it. So as a man thinketh, so is he. A positive attitude goes a million miles in this industry and your prospects can tell right away if you believe in yourself or if you are just giving this a run to see if you can do it. Sometimes a excellent belief builder is hearing from people who have achieve the success that you are striving for. Read material and watch videos that get you in the right mindset to believe in yourself. Whatever you do, do not embark on this network marketing journey without the self esteem to really succeed!

It has a time-proven business model with some companies that have been around for over 50 years with sales in the multi-billions of dollars annually. Along with the current situation in the job markets; people being laid off and those that are working having to work longer hours to compensate for the people that were “let go”; home-based business have been a constantly growing source of residual income. Selecting the right network marketing company

1. Management – You want to look at the management team to see if they have experience in building large successful businesses as well as network marketing backgrounds.  The company’s leader should be a visionary with the ability to be that operations, marketing genius, and trainer/teacher behind the scenes.
2. Product or service – It seems that products have out-performed services in network marketing for ages, but that doesn’t mean that services cannot be successful. The main focus here is that the product or service is something that people will be passionate about when they see it, even if they aren’t into network marketing themselves. It should be something that is in demand both now and in the future, and appeal to people of all ages.
3. Trends – Look around you and see what marketing trends are driving network marketing companies to massive growth. If a company is stagnant then that company is now following the trends of the industry. Read articles to find out what the trends are and what trends are sure to have longevity, then look for a company that fits those trends.
4. Compensation – The compensation plan should be easy to understand as well as easy to explain. Many of the good comp plans enable a person to sign just a few people to make enough money to cover their own monthly payment. It will also have a good middle ground for people looking to replace their current jobs, as well as the potential for six and seven-figure earning!
5. Training and support – This is the primary reason that people fail in network marketing, lack of training and support. The company should provide training on all aspects of the business from the products/services up to business building. A good company will offer a replicable website, weekly webinars and/or teleconferences, and live meetings. Your upline should provide an even higher level of training and support including three-way calls, prospecting meetings, and conference calls with their team.

Hands down, the best marketing strategy out here on the internet is…(drum roll please!)…LEARNING HOW TO MARKET. In my personal opinion you can take just about any marketing strategy that exists and parley it into a successful marketing campaign, but unless you know how to market effectively then all of your efforts will fall flat. 97% of marketers are failing because they haven’t taken the first step necessary to succeed…adopting a training system that brands them and gives them the step-by-step blueprints to building a successful marketing career.

It is easy to sign-up with a successful company and start promoting it to everyone you come in contact with, but you will have to do some self-branding and value-providing in order to really capture people’s attention. I have tried this both ways and can tell you that without a doubt, not learning how to market correctly will stop you business in it’s tracks.

Don’t be fooled by systems that cost little to nothing, but in turn brands the owner or founder of the system. If your brand is not on the capture pages or whatever you are using to get leads, then you will be overlooked, trust me. People will opt-in then loo for the person they saw in the video and ultimately be disappointed when you aren’t that person. You can become semi-successful like that, but ultimate success comes from positioning YOU as the leader and YOU as the person people want to sign-up and learn from.

How many of you out here have joined an opportunity and have been sitting there waiting on it to grow? You signed on with this new business and you see people making tons of money in it, and signing up new people left and right. There are so many people out here that are misguided and left DOA when they hit the marketing arena.

How can you avoid this? You can do your homework before you jump out into the network marketing world. There are real mentors, coaches and gurus that really do want you to succeed in your business…how do I know this? Think about it…why would someone sign you up into THEIR business and then hope, or not care, if YOU FAIL? How would his or her down-line continue to grow if YOU don’t succeed? If someone really wants to be the network marketing success that everyone sees them as, then they will follow through and make sure that you get on the right track to success.

Should you sit back and totally rely on your coach or mentor? NO! Your marketing strategies will fall flat every time if you don’t act on what they teach you. Success is yours for the taking, so YOU will have to reach way down, pull out all the stops, and TAKE ACTION. If you play your cards right and link up with a company and a mentor/coach that really looks out for you…putting you on  the right track…then you have found the key to truly exploding your business, and more importantly, YOUR BRAND! If by chance you didn’t get so lucky in who you signed up with, then you have to do some soul searching and figure out what’s the best course of action to take concerning you business…Should you wing it and continue to learn on your own? OR should you scope out a new team to align yourself with? These are the things that cause most people to throw in the towel…They feel like they shouldn’t have to deal with these kinds of pressures, so they give up and dive back into corporate America.

Don’t throw away you dreams before they have a chance to come to fruition! Align yourself with real mentors and leaders! Invest in yourself and your business through dedicating time and training to elevate your brand into profit and success!
